Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation procedure that involves the use of a device that contains fine needles.This device is used to create tiny punctures in the skin to form a controlled skin injury. Each puncture creates a micro-channel that triggers the body's natural wound healing process to produce new collagen and elastin, the key to youthful looking skin .
