Swedish massage is the best-known and most popular type of massage therapy on which all other massage styles are based.
Swedish massage therapy involves mild, moderate or deeper strokes on the back, arms, legs, neck and other body parts to target tissues and muscles for maximal pain relief, stress release and relaxation.
Swedish massage helps promote healing while targeting pain, injuries, stress and stiffness using gliding, kneading, tapping, friction and light shaking—designed to ease back pain and help relaxation.

Swedish Massage Therapy
The basis of all massage treatments, its gliding movements to help promote circulation and relaxation.
Swedish Massage is firm but gentle pressure massage to improve the circulation, ease muscle aches and tensions, improve flexibility and create relaxation. It employs five different movements: long, gliding strokes, kneading of individual muscles, friction, hacking or tapping and vibration. It is a light pressure massage developed to increase the oxygen flow and release toxins from the muscles.
